Key features
Automatic cost calculation
Register ingredients once with purchase price. Get unit cost, item cost, totals, and cost per serving.
What is left at your price
Put your current selling price next to the item cost and see how much is left.
Prep items (sub-recipes)
Create sauces/creams as recipes and add them as prep items. Costs are calculated recursively.
Folders & organization
Organize ingredients and recipes with folders, plus fast search and sorting.
Multiple currencies
Use KRW, USD, EUR, JPY and more—match what’s on your actual receipts.
Trash & restore
Deleted items go to Trash first, so you can restore or permanently delete later.
How it works
Add ingredients
Enter purchase price and quantity. KitchenCost calculates unit cost automatically.
Build your recipe
Add ingredients (and prep items). Costs are calculated per ingredient and in total.
Decide your price
Compare your current price with the cost and see what is left. KitchenCost shows the numbers; you decide the price.

Frequently asked questions
- Where is my recipe data stored? Ingredients, menu items, and prices are stored on the device you are using by default. If you choose to turn on cloud sync to work across devices, they are kept in sync storage as well. Limited usage and stability data may be processed separately, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Do I have to use cloud sync? No. The core costing features work on your device without signing in or syncing.
- Is synced data encrypted? Yes. Key business data such as names, notes, prices, pack sizes, and selling prices is encrypted on your device before it is sent over a secure connection. Some metadata needed to run sync and manage access, such as identifiers and change timestamps, is handled separately.
- Is my data used to train AI? No. The ingredient and menu data you store in KitchenCost is not used to train AI models.
- Do you sell my data to other companies? No. The ingredient and menu data you store is not sold, and we do not share it with advertising networks.
